Joseph Domingo and his team of brilliant producers, directors and choreographers put on a classy white spectacle at this years, SNOW Fashion Show. This invite only show was set at One Market inside a marble encased room where the creativity burst out of every stitch and seam. White is a color many people are not excited about…however, the folks at this show did it right from the people watching to the designers show casing their work. The production part of this show was top notch, the timing of the music was on, the models walked at near perfect pace, and the over all feeling was professional.
The designers: Acta, Deception, Cari Borja, Dahae Kim, Danial Surar, Gr.dano,Varreries & Sako and Joseph Dimingo created a special line for this event where they stuck to their cut and silhouette but constructed all the pieces out of white fabric! Many designers like to add colored patterns and splashes of this and that… it is spring almost. However, at this show, the challenge was to create pieces with dimension and style and not allow the audience to be persuaded by color. With this show, one was able to really see how the garment draped on the body & how it flowed with the walks and turns. Sometimes you get caught up in the imagery of the piece and you forget to look at it construction….great job to every one who participated at this annual event!!! Looking forward to next year!
